I joined CPIC in late 2011, after being a guest for a few months. I am still using my Lumix FZ45 which is great, easy to work with and has a great zoom ! I have been entering club competitions and feel that considering I am a beginner have done quite well. I am certainly learning how to take better images by talking to friends and judges at club. I now own a tripod and enjoy going on location with friends day and night ! I was very pleased and surprised to be awarded a score of 18 for my image“ The Watchtower “ in the recent “Granville Shield ” competition ! I hope to become more consistent and hopefully my scores will increase .
